Robot Voice Assistant Retro Comic Mug

At the pace of A.I. Development, we worry about the machines becoming self-aware and manufacturing robots to destroy us all, and James Cameron went straight there because making a film about robots that force you to spend all of your cash on chintzy garbage probably isn't going to be very gripping.

An Austrian voice saying "I want your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle; give them to me" makes for a dynamic scene, but when the voice continues, "I will replace them with new ones" it deflates, really quickly.

My version of the robot onslaught has much more in common with Philip K. Dick's Autofac—and if you think about it, that's much more likely, perhaps.
